Macauley Ryan partners with hub.health as its first men's health ambassador
Macca's latest Ultra challenge sees him tackling 7 half marathons within 24hrs
7th November, 2024
A longtime men’s health advocate and co-founder of one of Brisbane’s largest run clubs, Got The Runs, Ultra Marathon Runner Macauley “Macca” Ryan teams up with hub.health as their first men’s health ambassador. Macca’s latest Ultra challenge sees him tackling 7 half marathons within 24hrs for Movember. Why? To raise awareness for men’s health, encourage those hard to have conversations and break down the stigma.
Macca’s dedication to men’s health stems from his own journey with mental health challenges years ago, and he’s now driven to transform how we view men’s health.
“I aim to break down the stigma around what it means to be a “man,” encouraging men to embrace vulnerability and openly share their emotions and struggles, with the hope of reducing troubling statistics.”

Hub.health is proudly partnering with Macca to strengthen his mission to provide men with greater access to resources, support and essential information; empowering them to become healthier for their partners, families and loved ones.
“I’m thrilled to join hub.health on this journey to transform men’s health. I hope that men everywhere will see my passion and willingness to be vulnerable as a call to action, to seek the support they need to navigate life and make positive changes.”
This year’s Movember challenge will see Macca running 7 half marathons in 24 hours, clocking up a total of 147.7km. He’ll be kicking off his efforts on Saturday, November 9th from Waterfront Park at 6am.
“By rallying men and the wider community from all walks of life, through initiatives like my 7 half marathons in 24 hours, with hub.health as a sponsor, I’m creating opportunities for my community to quickly and easily access essential resources.”
“This partnership allows me to further share my mission and personal stories, helping to build awareness and foster a safe space where men can openly share their experiences. Through this, we can provide educational content that supports them on their journey toward better health and well-being.”
