Frequently asked questions

Individuals who are most at risk of UTIs include women, sexually active individuals, those with a history of UTIs, older adults, people with urinary tract abnormalities or obstructions, individuals with weakened immune systems, and individuals using certain types of catheters. [1]

When checking for a UTI diagnosis, your doctor will ask about your symptoms, examine you, and collect a midstream urine sample. This helps avoid bacteria from nearby areas like the urethra, vagina, anus, groin, and hands that could contaminate the test.

For some people, a UTI can happen once and go away with UTI treatment. But for others, UTIs may come back and become harder to deal with. Recurrent UTIs can have various causes, and certain factors like sexual activity, condom use, hormonal deficiency, diabetes, kidney stones, incontinence, weakened pelvic floor, and urinary tract problems can increase the risk of getting infected again.

Of course! If you log into your profile and head to the ‘Products’ tab, you will see a ‘Manage Treatment’ button. Click this and you’ll see the ability to send a message to your clinician. If you’re having any issues, just drop us a line at [email protected]
